Amber Kappa is a commercial operator and strategic growth executive with expertise in technology-led revenue creation, zero-to-scale business creation, and strategic partnerships across Fortune 100 and PE-backed companies. She has led multi-billion-dollar revenue expansion, optimized profitability, and scaled digital businesses through innovation and operational excellence. As Vice President at Albertsons, Amber built and scaled a multi-billion dollar digital commerce ecosystem across marketplace, logistics and platform providers, delivering ~70% CAGR and outsized EBITDA gains over a four-year period through platform partnerships, product and fulfillment innovation, and payments modernization. She pioneered regulated digital payment acceptance (SNAP, HSA, FSA), and launched differentiated digital experiences including Rapid Delivery, White-Glove Service, Endless Aisle Third Party Marketplace, and Loyalty Subscriptions – ultimately expanding Albertsons’ online grocery footprint to 37 million new customers.
Previously, Amber served as a member of the SmartThings Executive Leadership Team at Samsung, co-leading a 300-person global organization and growing the platform from 50M to 112M subscribers in 14 months. She has also held commercial leadership roles at eBay, StubHub, Nokia, and Microsoft, where she led early AI-driven and agentic commerce, API-first platform strategy, payments innovation, and platform growth across major global markets, including China, Korea, the Middle East, and India.
