Keith Hertzberg currently serves as a Budget and Innovation Advisor to San José Mayor Matt Mahan in the Mayor’s Office of Technology and Innovation (MOTI). In this role, he advances the Mayor’s fiscal priorities through the annual budget process and promotes the City’s innovation initiatives. He previously served as a Neighborhood Outreach Coordinator for the Mayor’s Neighborhood Outreach Team and worked with neighborhoods across Districts 2, 9, and 10. 

As a native San Joséan, Keith remains actively engaged in his community. He is the Founding President of the Cahalan Canoas Neighborhood Association in South San José, where he was raised. He is also an alumni of San José State University’s Lucas College of Business and previously served as Outreach Chair for the Lucas College of Business Young Alumni Board.
