Mai currently serves as the Digital Media specialist for Mayor Matt Mahan. A Bay Area native, she brings a strong passion for civic engagement and digital storytelling to her work in local government. With a background in nonprofit communications and entertainment marketing, she is excited to continue marrying civic purpose with creative strategy.
She holds a degree in Film and Television from Boston University, and is proud to return to her hometown, leveraging her creative skills to give back to the community. When she’s not in office (or directing Mayor Mahan in his next Oscar-worthy TikTok), you can find her performing unsolicited karaoke in her cycling classes, adding books to her ever-growing shelf, competing for BTS tour tickets, or being outwitted by her goldendoodle, Hiro.
